NORTH WEST POLSKI SUPPORT

The North West Centre for Learning & Development is a community based organisation which provides a wide range of services such as: training, work placements, re-skilling, advice on training, career guidance, information, delivery and support services – all of which are vital for a cohesive and healthy society. The Centre’s work has been established around supporting those who are classified as being disadvantaged and marginalised within our society.

The North West Centre recognised the need to support new residents who have located to the area from other countries and in response to this need we have established a Migrant Community Support Service based in 14 Magazine Street, L’Derry. This Centre assists individuals from other countries on how to access services and signposts them to attain the information they request and since the opening of this service, a range of queries kept re-occurring. In order to enable a wide group of people to access this information we have created this website, with links to support organisations and bodies which may be useful.

The North West Centre is also currently providing training in English for Speakers of other languages.
